Your visit to the museum can be a memorable experience for your group, with a variety of options available to enhance your tour. We offer personalized experiences with expert guides, who can even meet your group on the bus to provide an introduction before you arrive on campus. We also have an introductory video which can be shown during your trip to help guests prepare for their visit. Ask us for information on this great addition to your experience.
For an additional fee, we can host a luncheon before your tour in our beautifully restored Carriage House Event Center, which comfortably accommodates up to 100 guests.
To qualify for discounted group rates, your group must consist of at least 10 minimum guests. Because of size constraints of the museum building we cannot easily admit more than 50 guests at a time into the building. For larger groups, we will separate them into smaller groups to make this work comfortably for your guests. This size allows us to provide the highest-quality experience for every guest.
Please note that visitors should be prepared to climb stairs to access all three floors of the mansion, as the building does not have elevators. Because the restrooms are historic home sized, they are smaller than in modern public buildings. You may wish to make restroom arrangements before arriving on campus.
Due to staffing and operational requirements, group tours are not available on weekends. We also require reservations to be made at least two weeks in advance to ensure adequate staffing and provide the best possible experience for your group.
